Elliott Packaging were recently contacted by the sports merchandising giant Fanatics and were given the task of supplying them 550,000 kraft paper mailing bags in time for the new England online kit launch just prior to this years’ World Cup.
From initial contact the bags were needed within a very challenging 3 week time frame. The required specification was for a fully compostable mailing bag so the agreed spec was for a (strong) single ply 100gsm kraft (FSC grade) unprinted bag with two adhesive strips (for returns) and in two bespoke sizes.
To accommodate the customer and to deliver on time an extra shift was put into place and the mailing bags were delivered 2 days before the critical date. The customer was extremely happy that the kit launch was able to go out on time and without any issues whatsoever.
